Isaiah 1 - YLT (Punjabi)

1 The Visions of Isaiah son of Amoz, that he hath seen concerning Judah and Jerusalem, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, Hezekiah, kings of Judah.ਇਹ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਆਮੋਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਸਾਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਯਸਾਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦਰਸਾਈਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ। ਯਸਾਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਉਦੋਂ ਦੇਖੀਆਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਜ਼ੀਯ੍ਯਾਹ, ਯੋਥਾਮ, ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਸਨ।

2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth, For Jehovah hath spoken: Sons I have nourished and brought up, And they -- they transgressed against Me.ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਰੋਸ ਹੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣੋ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਲਿਆ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਧਣ ਫ਼ੁੱਲਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋ ਗਏ।

3 An ox hath known its owner, And an ass the crib of its master, Israel hath not known, My people hath not understood.ਗਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦੀ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਗਧਾ ਓਸ ਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰਾ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ। ਮੇਰੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ।”

4 Ah, sinning nation, a people heavy `with' iniquity, A seed of evil doers, sons -- corrupters! They have forsaken Jehovah, They have despised the Holy One of Israel, They have gone away backward.ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਕੌਮ ਪਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪਾਪ ਉਸ ਭਾਰੇ ਵਜ਼ਨ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕਣਾ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਬੁਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵ੍ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰੱਖ (ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ) ਦਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਜਨਬੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਵਰਤਾਓ ਕੀਤਾ।

5 Wherefore are ye stricken any more? Ye do add apostacy! Every head is become diseased, and every heart `is' sick.ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ? ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਦਲੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਬਗਾਵਤ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਹਰ ਸਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਦਿਲ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਹੈ।

6 From the sole of the foot -- unto the head, There is no soundness in it, Wound, and bruise, and fresh smiting! They have not been closed nor bound, Nor have they softened with ointment.ਸਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਤੀਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ਖਮ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੋੜੇ ਹਨ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਫ਼ੋੜਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਇਲਾਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਜ਼ਖਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਮਰਹਮ ਪੱਟੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ।

7 Your land `is' a desolation, your cities burnt with fire, Your ground, before you strangers are consuming it, And a desolation as overthrown by strangers!“ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਸਾੜੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।”

8 And left hath been the daughter of Zion, As a booth in a vineyard, As a lodge in a place of cucumbers -- as a city besieged.ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਹੁਣ ਅੰਗੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਖਣੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਇਹ ਕਕੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੱਡੀ ਹੋਈ ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਝੁਗ੍ਗੀ ਜਾਂ ਘਿਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੈ।

9 Unless Jehovah of Hosts had left to us a remnant, Shortly -- as Sodom we had been, To Gomorrah we had been like!ਇਹ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਦੂਮ ਅਤੇ ਅਮੂਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

10 Hear the word of Jehovah, ye rulers of Sodom, Give ear to the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah,ਸਦੂਮ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਓ ਸੁਣੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੈਗਾਮ ਨੂੰ। ਤੁਸੀਂ, ਅਮੂਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਬਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋ!

11 `Why to Me the abundance of your sacrifices? saith Jehovah, I have been satiated `with' burnt-offerings of rams, And fat of fatlings; And blood of bullocks, and lambs, And he-goats I have not desired.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਕਿਉਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਂਦੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ? ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਭੇਡੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਟੇ-ਤਾਜ਼ੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਾਫੀ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹ੍ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਬੱਕਰੀਆਂ, ਬਲਦਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੂਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦੀ।

12 When ye come in to appear before Me, Who hath required this of your hand, To trample My courts?ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਹੜੇ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਸ਼ੈਅ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਲਿਤਾੜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ। ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ?

13 Add not to bring in a vain present, Incense -- an abomination it `is' to Me, New moon, and sabbath, calling of convocation! Rendure not iniquity -- and a restraint!“ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਫ਼ਿਜ਼ੂਲ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਨਾ ਲਿਆਉਂਦੇ ਰਹੋ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਧੂਫ਼ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਚੰਨ ਸਬਤ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੋਰ ਪਰਬਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦਾਅਵਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਹਿਨ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਬਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਮਿਲਣੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਮਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ।

14 Your new moons and your set seasons hath My soul hated, They have been upon me for a burden, I have been weary of bearing.ਮੈਂ ਪੂਰੇ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਹੀਨੇਵਾਰ ਮਜਲਿਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਲਾਹ ਮਸ਼ਵਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਮਜਲਿਸਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਭਾਰੀ ਬੋਝ ਬਣ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੋਝ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਬਕੱ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ।

15 And in your spreading forth your hands, I hide mine eyes from you, Also when ye increase prayer, I do not hear, Your hands of blood have been full.“ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕ ਹੱਥ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ-ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕ ਹੋਰ-ਹੋਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾਵਾਂ ਕਰੋਗੇ-ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਾਂਗਾ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੱਥ ਖੂਨ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।

16 Wash ye, make ye pure, Turn aside the evil of your doings, from before Mine eyes, Cease to do evil, learn to do good.“ਹੱਥ ਧੋ ਲਵੋ। ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰੋ! ਬੁਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨੇ ਛੱਡ ਦਿਓ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੁਰੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ। ਬਦੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਛੱਡ ਦਿਓ!

17 Seek judgment, make happy the oppressed, Judge the fatherless, strive `for' the widow.ਨੇਕੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਸਿਖੋ। ਹੋਰਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰੋ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਦੂਸਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਓ। ਯਤੀਮ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੋ। ਵਿਧਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੋ।”

18 Come, I pray you, and we reason, saith Jehovah, If your sins are as scarlet, as snow they shall be white, If they are red as crimson, as wool they shall be!ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਆਓ, ਅਸੀਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿੱਚਾਰ ਕਰੀਏ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਾਪ ਸੂਹੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਲਾਲ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਧੋਤੇ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਰਫ਼ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਫ਼ੇਦ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਾਪ ਚਮਕੀਲੇ ਲਾਲ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ ਵਰਗੇ ਚਿੱਟੇ ਬਣ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ।

19 If ye are willing, and have hearkened, The good of the land ye consume,“ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।

20 And if ye refuse, and have rebelled, `By' the sword ye are consumed, For the mouth of Jehovah hath spoken.ਪਰ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੁਣਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ।” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ।

21 How hath a faithful city become a harlot? I have filled it `with' judgment, Righteousness lodgeth in it -- now murderers.ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖੋ। ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਨਗਰੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਚਲਦੀ ਸੀ। ਕਿਸ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵੇਸਵਾ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ? ਉਹ ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਲਦੀ। ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਉੱਥੇ ਕਾਤਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

22 Thy silver hath become dross, Thy drink polluted with water.“ਨੇਕੀ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਨਿਰਾਰਬਕ ਬਣ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ (ਨੇਕੀ) ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਣੀ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ-ਇਹ ਹੁਣ ਬੇ ਅਸਰ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ।

23 Thy princes `are' apostates, and companions of thieves, Every one loving a bribe, and pursuing rewards, The fatherless they judge not, And the plea of the widow cometh not to them.ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਬਾਗ਼ੀ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਚੋਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਯਾਰ ਹਨ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਵਢ੍ਢੀ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਨ-ਉਹ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੈਸਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਯਤੀਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਵਿਧਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦੇ।”

24 Therefore -- the affirmation of the Lord -- Jehovah of Hosts, the Mighty One of Israel: Ah, I am eased of Mine adversaries, And I am avenged of Mine enemies,ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰੱਖ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਸਮਣੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਸੱਕੇਂਗੇ।

25 And I turn back My hand upon thee, And I refine as purity thy dross, And I turn aside all thy tin,ਲੋਕੀਂ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸੱਜੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਫ਼ਿਜ਼ੂਲ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਖੋਹ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ।

26 And I give back thy judges as at the first, And thy counsellors as in the beginning, After this thou art called, `A city of righteousness -- a faithful city.'ਮੈਂ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਸਨ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਹਿਲੋਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ‘ਨੇਕ ਅਤੇ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ’ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀ ਅਖਵਾਓਗੇ।”

27 Zion in judgment is redeemed, And her captivity in righteousness.ਸੀਯੋਨ ਨਿਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜੇ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲ ਪਰਤਦੇ ਹਨ ਚੰਗਿਆਈ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

28 And the destruction of transgressors and sinners `is' together, And those forsaking Jehovah are consumed.ਪਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੁਜਰਿਮ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪੀ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਯਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।

29 For `men' are ashamed because of the oaks That ye have desired, And ye are confounded because of the gardens That ye have chosen.ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਗੀਚਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਓਕ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਮਸ਼ਾਰ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਸੀ।

30 For ye are as an oak whose leaf is fading, And as a garden that hath no water.ਇਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕ ਓਕ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਰੁੱਖ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਪੱਤੇ ਸੁੱਕ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਬਾਗ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਮਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ।

31 And the strong hath been for tow, And his work for a spark, And burned have both of them together, And there is none quenching!ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਲੋਕ ਲਕੜੀ ਦੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਟੁਕੜਿਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਚਂਗਿਆੜੀਆਂ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਅੱਗ ਲਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਮਲ ਸੜ ਜਾਵਣਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਉਸ ਅੱਗ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਝਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕੇਗਾ।
