Isaiah 13 - ASV (Punjabi)

1 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.ਬਾਬਲ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਅਮੋਜ਼ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਸਾਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਹ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਭਰਿਆ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ:

2 Set ye up an ensign upon the bare mountain, lift up the voice unto them, wave the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.“ਉਸ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਝੰਡਾ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰੋ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਉੱਗਦਾ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦੋ। ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬਾਹਵਾਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਵੋ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਫ਼ਾਟਕਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਆਖੋ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਹਨ।”

3 I have commanded my consecrated ones, yea, I have called my mighty men for mine anger, even my proudly exulting ones.ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਖ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਖੁਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਮੈਂ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਇੱਕਤ੍ਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਵਰਸਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਮੰਤਵ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੀ ਫ਼ਤਿਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ!

4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, as of a great people! the noise of a tumult of the kingdoms of the nations gathered together! Jehovah of hosts is mustering the host for the battle.“ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਉੱਚਾ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋ! ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਜਾਪਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੋਕਾ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

5 They come from a far country, from the uttermost part of heaven, even Jehovah, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਓਸਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੂਰ ਦੁਰਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਦੁਮੇਲੋ ਪਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕਹਿਰ ਆਪਣਾ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਹਬਿਆਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਵਰਤੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।”

6 Wail ye; for the day of Jehovah is at hand; as destruction from the Almighty shall it come.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਦਿਹਾੜਾ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਰੋਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਲਈ ਸੋਗ ਮਨਾਓ। ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਆਵੇਗਾ।

7 Therefore shall all hands be feeble, and every heart of man shall melt:ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਟੁੱਟ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਲੋਕ ਨਿਰਬਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

8 and they shall be dismayed; pangs and sorrows shall take hold `of them'; they shall be in pain as a woman in travail: they shall look in amazement one at another; their faces `shall be' faces of flame.ਹਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੇਟ ਓਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੁੱਖਣਗੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਔਰਤ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇ ਰਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਅੱਗ ਵਾਂਗ ਲਾਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਲੋਕ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਡਰ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਛਾਵਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਗਵਾਂਢੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

9 Behold, the day of Jehovah cometh, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger; to make the land a desolation, and to destroy the sinners thereof out of it.ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਦੇਖੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਖਾਸ ਦਿਨ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ! ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਦਿਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕਹਿਰਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਰੇਕ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਦੇਸ ਛੱਡਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light; the sun shall be darkened in its going forth, and the moon shall not cause its light to shine.ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਸੂਰਜ, ਚੰਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਮਕਣਗੇ।

11 And I will punish the world for `their' evil, and the wicked for their iniquity: and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਫਤਾਂ ਭੇਜਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਬੁਰੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਗੁਮਾਨੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੁਮਾਨ ਖੋਹ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫ਼ਢ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਮੀਨਗੀ ਭਰਿਆ ਸਲੂਕ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

12 I will make a man more rare than fine gold, even a man than the pure gold of Ophir.ਲੋਕ ਖਰੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਨਾਯਾਬ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

13 Therefore I will make the heavens to tremble, and the earth shall be shaken out of its place, in the wrath of Jehovah of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.ਆਪਣੇ ਕਹਿਰ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਲਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹਿੱਲ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।” ਇਹ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਦਰਸਾਵੇਗਾ।

14 And it shall come to pass, that as the chased roe, and as sheep that no man gathereth, they shall turn every man to his own people, and shall flee every man to his own land.ਫ਼ੇਰ ਲੋਕੀ ਓਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭੱਜ ਉੱਠਣਗੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹਿਰਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਆਜੜੀ ਤੋਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਭੱਜ ਉੱਠਣਗੇ। ਹਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੋੜ ਲਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੱਛਾਂਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਭੱਜ ਪਵੇਗਾ।

15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is taken shall fall by the sword.ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਫੜਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

16 Their infants also shall be dashed in pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be rifled, and their wives ravished.ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਲੁੱਟ ਲਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਲਾਤਕਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਛੋਟੇ-ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਕੁੱਟ-ਕੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, who shall not regard silver, and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਦੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਮਿਦੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮਿਦੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਹਮਲੇ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਟਣਗੀਆਂ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨਾ ਹੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਾ ਅਦਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।

18 And `their' bows shall dash the young men in pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.ਫ਼ੌਜੀ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਣਗੇ। ਫ਼ੌਜੀ ਨਿੱਕੇ ਨਿਆਣਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਤਰਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਫ਼ੌਜੀ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਵੀ ਤਰਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldeans' pride, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.ਬਾਬਲ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਸਦੂਮ ਅਤੇ ਅਮੂਰਾਹ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਹ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਲਿਆਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਓੱਥੇ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚੇਗਾ। “ਬਾਬਲ ਸਮੂਹ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ। ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਗੁਮਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਬਾਬਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖ ਸੱਕੇਗਾ।

20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall shepherds make their flocks to lie down there.ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਓੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਅਰਬ ਲੋਕ ਓੱਥੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਾਉਣਗੇ। ਆਜੜੀ ਓੱਥੇ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਚਾਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਣਗੇ।

21 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and ostriches shall dwell there, and wild goats shall dance there.ਉੱਥੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮਾਰੂਬਲ ਦੇ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਹੀ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਬਾਬਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਘਰ ਉੱਲੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੰਛੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੱਕਰੀਆਂ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਡ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।

22 And wolves shall cry in their castles, and jackals in the pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.ਆਵਾਰਾ ਕੁੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਘਿਆੜ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੌਂਕ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਬਾਬਲ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਬਾਬਲ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੋਕਾਂਗਾ।”
