ਪਰ ਨਿਮਰੀਮ ਦਾ ਚਸ਼ਮਾ ਮਾਰੂਬਲ ਵਾਂਗ ਸੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੇ ਪੌਦੇ ਮੁਰਝਾ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਹਰਿਆਵਲ ਨਹੀਂ।

for כִּֽי kî kee
is withered away, יָבֵ֤שׁ yābēš ya-VAYSH
the hay חָצִיר֙ ḥāṣîr ha-TSEER
faileth, כָּ֣לָה kālâ ka-LA
the grass דֶ֔שֶׁא dešeʾ deh-SHEH
green thing. יֶ֖רֶק yereq yeh-REK
no לֹ֥א lōʾ loh
there is הָיָֽה׃ hāyâ ha-YA
