Isaiah 23:13
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਖਦੇ ਨੇ ਸੂਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ, “ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ!” ਪਰ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਤੱਕੋ! ਬਾਬਲ ਹੁਣ ਕੋਈ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ। ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਨੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਮੁਨਾਰੇ ਉਸਾਰੇ ਹਨ। ਫ਼ੌਜੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਲੁੱਟ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਇਸਦੇ ਸੁਹਣੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਚੋਂ। ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਨੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਬਾਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਖੰਡਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ।
