Isaiah 28:4
ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਸਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਚੌਗਿਰਦ ਅਮੀਰ ਵਾਦੀ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ “ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਫ਼ੁੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਤਾਜ” ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮਰ ਰਹੇ ਪੌਦੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਅੰਜੀਰਾਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੰਜੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੇਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਚੁੱਕ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਖਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

And the glorious צְבִ֣י ṣĕbî tseh-VEE
beauty, תִפְאַרְתּ֔וֹ tipʾārâ teef-ah-RA
which אֲשֶׁ֥ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
on עַל ʿal al
the head רֹ֖אשׁ rōš rohsh
valley, גֵּ֣יא gayʾ ɡai
of the fat שְׁמָנִ֑ים šemen sheh-MEN
as the hasty fruit כְּבִכּוּרָהּ֙ bikkûr bee-KOOR
before בְּטֶ֣רֶם ṭerem teh-REM
the summer; קַ֔יִץ qayiṣ ka-YEETS
which אֲשֶׁ֨ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
he that looketh יִרְאֶ֤ה rāʾâ ra-AH
upon it seeth, הָֽרֹאֶה֙ rāʾâ ra-AH
אוֹתָ֔הּ ʾēt ate
while it is yet בְּעוֹדָ֥הּ ʿôd ode
in his hand בְּכַפּ֖וֹ kap kahf
he eateth it up. יִבְלָעֶֽנָּה׃ bālaʿ ba-LA
