ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਇਹ ਉਸ ਰੋਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰੋਜ਼ ਖਾਧਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਛੁਪਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਖੋਗੇ।

	לָכֶ֧ם
And the Lord	אֲדֹנָ֛י	ʾădōnāy	uh-doh-NAI
you the bread	לֶ֥חֶם	leḥem	leh-HEM
of adversity,	צָ֖ר	ṣar	tsahr
and the water	וּמַ֣יִם	mayim	ma-YEEM
of affliction,	לָ֑חַץ	laḥaṣ	la-HAHTS
yet shall not	וְלֹֽא	lōʾ	loh
be removed into a corner	יִכָּנֵ֥ף	kānap	ka-NAHF
any more,	עוֹד֙	ʿôd	ode
thy teachers	מוֹרֶ֔יךָ	yārâ	ya-RA
shall	וְהָי֥וּ	hāyâ	ha-YA
but thine eyes	עֵינֶ֖יךָ	ʿayin	ah-YEEN
see	רֹא֥וֹת	rāʾâ	ra-AH
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
thy teachers:	מוֹרֶֽיךָ׃	yārâ	ya-RA
