Isaiah 30 - DBY (Punjabi)

1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith Jehovah, who take counsel, but not of me, and who make leagues, but not by my Spirit, that they may heap sin upon sin;ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਮਿਸਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖੋ। ਇਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਦੇ। ਇਹ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ। ਇਹ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਉਹ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ। ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਨਾਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰ-ਹੋਰ ਗੁਨਾਹ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

2 who walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked of my mouth, -- to take refuge under the protection of Pharaoh, and trust in the shadow of Egypt!ਇਹ ਬੱਚੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵੱਲ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਸਹੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਉਮੀਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਮਿਸਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

3 For to you the protection of Pharaoh shall be a shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt a confusion.“ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁਕੱਣ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਮਿਸਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੇਗਾ।

4 For his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes.ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਆਗੂ ਸੋਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੂਤ ਹਾਨੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

5 They were all ashamed of a people [that] did not profit them, nor were a help or profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.ਪਰ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਕੌਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੀ। ਮਿਸਰ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਹੈ-ਮਿਸਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਮਿਸਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਨਮੋੋਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰੀ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।”

6 -- The burden of the beasts of the south: Through a land of trouble and anguish, whence come the lioness and lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they carry their riches upon the shoulders of asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to the people that shall not profit [them].ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਨਿਜੀਵ ਦੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਦਾਸ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼: ਨਿਜੀਵ ਇੱਕ ਖਤਰਨਾਕ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸ਼ੇਰਾਂ, ਜ਼ਹਿਰੀਲੇ ਸੱਪਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਨੀਅਰ ਸੱਪਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਨਿਜੀਵ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਕੌਮ ਵੱਲ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਖਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਊਠਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਿੱਠਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਦਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸਦਾ ਅਰਬ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਕੌਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੀ।

7 For Egypt shall help in vain, and to no purpose; therefore have I named her, Arrogance, that doeth nothing.ਇਹ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਕੌਮ ਮਿਸਰ ਹੈ। ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੰਮ ਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਨੂੰ “ਨਿਕਂਮਾ ਅਜਗਰ” ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

8 Now go, write it before them on a tablet, and record it in a book, that it may be for the time to come, as a witness for ever,ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਖ ਲਵੋ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਸੱਕਣ। ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਾਸਤੇ, ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖ ਲਵੋ ਆਖਰੀ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।

9 that this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of Jehovah;ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵ੍ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਖਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਦੇ। ਉਹ ਪਏ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

10 who say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things; speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits;ਉਹ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, “ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਨਾ ਲਵੋ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ! ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਨਾ ਦੱਸੋ! ਸਾਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ-ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਨ ਦਿਓ! ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਦੇਖੋ!

11 get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us!ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣ ਤੋਂ ਹਟ੍ਟ ਜਾਵੋ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ! ਸਾਡੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਟ੍ਟ ਜਾਵੋ! ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰੱਖ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਣੋ ਹਟ ਜਾਵੋ।”

12 Therefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel: Because ye reject this word, and confide in oppression and wilfulness, and depend thereon,ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰੱਖ (ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ) ਆਖਦੀ ਹੈ। “ਤੁਸਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਲੜਾਈ ਝਗੜ੍ਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਝੂਠ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ।

13 therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a towering wall, whose breaking shall come suddenly in an instant.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹੋ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਉੱਚੀ ਕੰਧ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤ੍ਰੇੜਾਂ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਕੰਧ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਢਹਿ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਟੁਕੜੇ-ਟੁਕੜੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

14 And he shall break it as the breaking of a potter's vessel, that is broken in pieces unsparingly; and in the pieces of it there shall not be found a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to scoop water out of the cistern.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਘੜੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਟੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਠੀਕਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਖਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਠੀਕਰੀਆਂ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਠੀਕਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਲਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੋਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੁੱਕ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਜਾਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤ੍ਤਲੇ ਤਲਾਬ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੱਢ ਸੱਕਦੇ।”

15 For thus saith the Lord Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel: In returning and rest shall ye be saved, in quietness and confidence shall be your strength; but ye would not.ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰੱਖ, ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਪਰਤ ਆਓਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਚ ਜਾਓਗੇ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤਾਕਤ ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਤ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ।” ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ, “ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅਗਾਂਹ ਵੱਲ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਘੋੜੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਨੇ!” ਇਹ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ।

16 And ye said, No, but we will flee upon horses, -- therefore shall ye flee; and, We will ride upon the swift, -- therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਵੋਗੇ। ਪਰ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

17 One thousand [shall flee] at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as a banner on a hill.ਇੱਕ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਧਮਕੀਆਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਬੰਦੇ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਪੰਜ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਧਮਕੀਆਂ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਬਤ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਗੱਡੇ ਝੰਡੇ, ਪਹਾੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਬੈਨਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਇੱਕਲੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਵੋ।

18 And therefore will Jehovah wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he lift himself up, that he may have mercy upon you; for Jehovah is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਦਰਸਾਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਠਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਰਾਮ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬੇਲਾਗ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।

19 For the people shall dwell in Zion, at Jerusalem. Thou shalt weep no more; he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; as he heareth it, he will answer thee.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕ ਰੋਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੋਗੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਵਿਰਲਾਪ ਸੁਣੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

20 And the Lord will give you the bread of adversity, and the water of oppression; yet thy teachers shall not be hidden any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers.ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਇਹ ਉਸ ਰੋਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰੋਜ਼ ਖਾਧਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਛੁਪਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਖੋਗੇ।

21 And when ye turn to the right hand or when ye turn to the left, thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it.ਫ਼ੇਰ, ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬੁਰਾ ਕਰੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਜੀਵੋਗੇ। (ਸੱਜੇ ਜਾਂ ਖੱਬੇ ਪਾਸੇ,) ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣੋਗੇ, “ਇਹ ਰਸਤਾ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ!”

22 And ye shall defile the silver covering of your graven images, and the gold overlaying of your molten images; thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth: Out! shalt thou say unto it.ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਸੋਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੜੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਾਪੀ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿਓਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਦੀ ਕਪੜਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਪਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿਓਗੇ।

23 And he will give the rain of thy seed with which thou shalt sow the ground; and bread, the produce of the ground, and it shall be fat and rich. In that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures;ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਵਰੱਖਾ ਭੇਜੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀਜ ਬੀਜੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਅਨਾਜ ਉਗਾਵੇਗੀ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਚੰਗੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਾਸ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਚਾਰਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

24 and the oxen and the asses that till the ground shall eat salted provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਅਤੇ ਗਧੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਭੋਜਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਖਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਨੂੰ ਖਿਲਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਹੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਲਂਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਪਵੇਗੀ।

25 And there shall be upon every high mountain and upon every hill that is lifted up, brooks [and] water-courses, in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.ਹਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਝਰਨੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਉਦੋਂ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਨਾਰੇ ਢਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

26 And the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that Jehovah bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the wound of their stroke.ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ, ਚਂਦਰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਸੂਰਜ ਵਰਗੀ ਚਮਕੀਲੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਸੂਰਜ ਦੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਹੁਣ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸੱਤ ਗੁਣਾ ਵੱਧ ਚਮਕਦਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਸੂਰਜ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਉਦੋਂ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਫ਼ੱਟੜ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਟ੍ਟੀਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਖਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

27 Behold, the name of Jehovah cometh from far, burning [with] his anger -- a grievous conflagration; his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a consuming fire;ਦੇਖੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਦੂਰੋ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸਦਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਧੂਏਂ ਦੇ ਮੋਟੇ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਕਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਜੀਭ ਬਲਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੈ।

28 and his breath as an overflowing torrent, which reacheth even to the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of destruction, and [to put] a bridle into the jaws of the peoples, that causeth them to go astray.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਾਂ ਨਦੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ। ਗਲ-ਗਲ ਤਾਂਈਁ ਚੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਝਾਨਣੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਚਣ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਨੱਬ, ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਬਾੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਵੇਗਾ, ਜੋ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਰੱਖਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਵੱਲ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

29 Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a feast is sanctified; and joy of heart, as of one who goeth with a pipe to come unto the mountain of Jehovah, to the Rock of Israel.ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਓਗੇ। ਉਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਤਾਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਵੱਲ ਤੁਰੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਵੱਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਤੇ ਵੰਝਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ।

30 And Jehovah will cause the majesty of his voice to be heard, and will shew the lighting down of his arm with indignation of anger, and a flame of consuming fire, with waterflood and storm and hailstones.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਾਵੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਾਜ਼ੂ ਦਿਖਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਬਾਜ਼ੂ ਉਸ ਮਹਾ ਅਗਨੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਸਾੜ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਰੱਖਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੜਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਹਾ ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

31 For through the voice of Jehovah shall the Assyrian be broken down: he will smite [him] with the rod.ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰੇਗਾ।

32 And wherever shall pass the appointed staff, which Jehovah shall lay upon him, it shall be with tambours and harps; and with tumultuous battles will he fight with it.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਢੋਲ ਨਗਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਬਾਜ਼ੂ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

33 For Topheth is prepared of old; for the king also it is prepared: he hath made it deep and large; its pile is fire and much wood; the breath of Jehovah, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.ਸਿਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਚਿਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਰਾਜੇ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੌੜਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਓੱਥੇ ਲੱਕੜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਢੇਰ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਬਲਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਗੰਧਕ ਦੀ ਨਦੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਸੁੱਟੇਗਾ।
