ਪਰ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲੱਗਣਾ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਸੋਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੜੀਆਂ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦੇ ਨੇ, ‘ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਹੋ।’ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਝੂਠਿਆਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ ਹੋਵਣਗੇ!
