ਇੱਕ ਬੰਦਾ ਦਿਆਰ, ਸਰੂ ਜਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਓਕ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਗਾਇਆ-ਇਹ ਰੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਜੰਗਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਗੇ ਸਨ। ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਚੀਲ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਬੀਜਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਗਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

which he strengtheneth וַיְאַמֶּץ ʾāmaṣ ah-MAHTS

for himself among the trees בַּעֲצֵי ʿēṣ ayts
of the forest: יָ֑עַר yaʿar ya-AR
he planteth נָטַ֥ע nāṭaʿ na-TA
an ash, אֹ֖רֶן ʾōren oh-REN
and the rain וְגֶ֥שֶׁם gešem ɡeh-SHEM
doth nourish יְגַדֵּֽל׃ gādal ɡa-DAHL
