ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰੱਖ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੈਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

of Israel, יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל yiśrāʾēl yees-ra-ALE
and his Maker, וְיֹצְר֑וֹ yāṣar ya-TSAHR
me of things to come הָאֹתִיּ֣וֹת ʾātâ ah-TA
Ask שְׁאָל֔וּנִי šāʾal sha-AL
concerning עַל ʿal al
my sons, בָּנַ֛י bēn bane
and concerning וְעַל ʿal al
the work פֹּ֥עַל pōʿal poh-AL
of my hands יָדַ֖י yād yahd
command ye me. תְּצַוֻּֽנִי׃ ṣāwâ tsa-VA
