Isaiah 45:5
ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ! ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ। ਇੱਥੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ।

| me: I girded | אֲאַזֶּרְךָ֖ | ʾăʾazzerkā | uh-ah-zer-HA |
| not hast thou though thee, | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| known | יְדַעְתָּֽנִי׃ | yĕdaʿtānî | yeh-da-TA-nee |
