Isaiah 45 - DBY (Punjabi)

1 Thus saith Jehovah to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him -- and I will loose the loins of kings; to open before him the two-leaved doors, and the gates shall not be shut:ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਜੇ, ਖੋਰੁਸ, ਬਾਰੇ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ। “ਮੈਂ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਦਾ ਸੱਜਾ ਹੱਥ ਫ਼ੜਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਖੋਹਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੋਕਣਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਅੰਦਰ ਚੱਲਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।”

2 I will go before thee, and make the elevated places plain; I will break in pieces the brazen doors, and cut asunder the bars of iron;“ਖੋਰੁਸ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਫੌਜਾਂ ਧਾਵਾ ਬੋਲਣਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਚੱਲਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਧਰਾ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਤਾਂਬੇ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਨ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਲੋਹੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਛੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।

3 and I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places; that thou mayest know that I, Jehovah, who call thee by name, [am] the God of Israel.ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੌਲਤ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਚਾ ਕੇ ਰੱਖੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਲੁਕਵੀਆਂ ਦੌਲਤਾਂ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਜਾਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬੁਲਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ!

4 For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have called thee by thy name; I surnamed thee, though thou didst not know me;ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਲਈ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਲਈ। (ਖੋਰੁਸ) ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬੁਲਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬੁਲਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

5 I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else; there is no God beside me: I girded thee, and thou hast not known me;ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ! ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ। ਇੱਥੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ।

6 -- that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the going down, that there is none beside me. I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else;ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਇੱਕੋ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ। ਪੂਰਬ ਤੋਂ ਪੱਛਮ ਤੱਕ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।

7 forming the light and creating darkness, making peace and creating evil: I, Jehovah, do all these things.ਮੈਂ ਨੂਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਅਮਨ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ-ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

8 Drop down, [ye] heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and with it let righteousness spring up. I, Jehovah, have created it.“ਕਾਸ਼, ਉੱਪਰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਦਲ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਨੇਕੀ, ਵਰੱਖਾ ਵਾਂਗ ਵਰ੍ਹਾਉਣ! ਕਾਸ਼, ਧਰਤੀ ਖੁਲ੍ਹ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਵੱਧੇ ਫ਼ੁੱਲੇ! ਮੈਂ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ਰ ਨੇ, ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਸਾਜਿਆ।”

9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let a potsherd [strive] with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that formeth it, What makest thou? Or thy work, He hath no hands?ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ “ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖੋ! ਇਹ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਦਲੀਲਾਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਦਲੀਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੇਖੋ! ਉਹ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਰਤਨ ਦੇ ਟੁਕੜਿਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ। ਬੰਦਾ ਨਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਗਿੱਲੀ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਤਨ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁੱਛਦੀ, ‘ਬੰਦਿਆ, ਤੂੰ ਕੀ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ?’ ਉਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਇਹ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੌਣ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ।

10 Woe unto him that saith unto [his] father, What begettest thou? Or to [his] mother, What hast thou brought forth?ਇੱਕ ਪਿਤਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁੱਛ ਸੱਕਦੇ, ‘ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ ਕਿਉਂ ਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ?’ ਬੱਚੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ, ‘ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਜਨਮ ਦੇ ਰਹੀ ਹੈਂ?’”

11 Thus saith Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: Ask me of the things to come; concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands, command ye me.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰੱਖ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੈਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

12 It is I that have made the earth, and created man upon it; it is I, my hands, that have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.ਇਸ ਲਈ ਦੇਖੋ! ਮੈਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ।

13 It is I that have raised him up in righteousness, and I will make all his ways straight: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith Jehovah of hosts.ਮੈਂ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਨੇਕ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੇ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਾਨ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਖੋਰੁਸ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਾਰੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਖੋਰੁਸ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਚੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਜਲਾਵਤਨੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜ਼ਾਦ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਦਾਇਗੀ ਜਾਂ ਇਨਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

14 Thus saith Jehovah: The wealth of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia and the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall walk after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall bow down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, [saying,] Surely ùGod is in thee; and there is none else, no other God. ...ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮਿਸਰ ਤੇ ਇਬੋਪੀਆ ਅਮੀਰ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਇਹ ਦੌਲਤਾਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣਗੀਆਂ। ਸੇਬਾ ਦੇ ਲੰਮੇ ਕਦ੍ਦ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਗਰਦਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਈਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਜ਼ੰਜ਼ੀਰਾਂ ਸੰਗ ਚੱਲਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਝੁਕਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ।” ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ।

15 Verily thou art a ùGod that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. ...ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੋ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖ ਸੱਕਦੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਰੱਖਿਅਕੱ ਹੋ।

16 They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them; they shall go away in confusion together, the makers of idols.ਬਹੁਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਹੋਕੇ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

17 Israel shall be saved by Jehovah with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded, unto the ages of ages.ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੇਗਾ ਉਹ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਸਦਾ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

18 For thus saith Jehovah who created the heavens, God himself who formed the earth and made it, he who established it, -- not as waste did he create it: he formed it to be inhabited: -- I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਬਾਵੇਂ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਖਣਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹਿਆ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਜਿਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਸੀ। “ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ, ਇੱਥੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ।

19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth; I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek me in vain: I [am] Jehovah, speaking righteousness, declaring things which are right.ਮੈਂ ਗੁਪਰ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਗੁਪਤ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਖੁਲ੍ਹੇ-ਆਮ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ, ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਨੇਰੀ ਬਾਵੇਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੁਪਾਏ ਸਨ। ਮੈਂ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖਾਲੀ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਦੇਖਣ। ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਸੱਚ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਉਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਜੋ ਸਹੀ ਹਨ।”

20 Gather yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations. They have no knowledge that carry the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a ùgod that cannot save.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹੀ ਇੱਕੋ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਗਏ ਹੋ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਸ ਆਓ। (ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਰੱਖੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿਕੰਮੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

21 Declare and bring [them] near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath caused this to be heard from ancient time? [who] hath declared it long ago? Is it not I, Jehovah? And there is no God else beside me; a just ùGod and a Saviour, there is none besides me.ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਜਾਣ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੱਖ ਦੱਸਣ ਦਿਓ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਹਿਸ ਕਰਨ ਦਿਓ।) “ਬਹੁਤ ਚਿਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਸਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ? ੱਬਹੁਤ ਚਿਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੌਣ ਦਸਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ? ਮੈਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੀ, ਉਹ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ। ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਇੱਕੋ ਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ। ਕੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ? ਕੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਨੇਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ? ਕੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ? ਨਹੀਂ! ਇੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ!

22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] ùGod, and there is none else.ਦੂਰ-ਦੂਰ ਦੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲੱਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਹਟ ਜਾਓ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲੱਗੋ ਅਤੇ ਬਚ ਜਾਓ। ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ। ਇੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਇੱਕੋ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ।

23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth [in] righteousness and shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.“ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਖੁਦ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਕੋਈ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਸੱਚਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਹੜੀ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਵਾਪਰੇਗੀ: ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ (ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ) ਅੱਗੇ ਝੁਕੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲੱਗਣ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

24 Only in Jehovah, shall one say, have I righteousness and strength. To him shall [men] come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.ਲੋਕ ਆਖਣਗੇ, ‘ਨੇਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।’” ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਗਵਾਹ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਣਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਲੋਕ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

25 In Jehovah shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਨੇਕੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾਣ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
