Isaiah 49 - KJV (Punjabi)

1 Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਾਸ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਦੂਰ ਦੁਰਾਡੇ ਦੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕੋ, ਸੁਣੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ! ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕੋ, ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣੋ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਜਨਮ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਹਾਲੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਦੇ ਗਰਭ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਾਂ।

2 And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਰਤਦਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਤਿੱਖੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਦੀ ਛਾਵੇਂ ਲੁਕਾ ਕੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਬਚਾਉ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਤਿੱਖੇ ਤੀਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਸ਼ਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੁਪਾ ਲਿਆ।

3 And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਸਰਾਏਲ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕੁਝ ਮਹਾਨ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।”

4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਫ਼ਜ਼ੂਲ ਹੀ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਬਕਾ ਲਿਆ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਲਾਹੇਵਂਦ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ, ਪਰ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੇਰੇ ਇਨਾਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

5 And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਰਭ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਪਸ ਓਸ ਵੱਲ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਾਂ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਾਣ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ,

6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.“ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਸੇਵਕ ਹੈਂ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਕੈਦੀ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਵਾਪਸ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਲਿਆਂਦੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਪਰਤ ਆਉਣਗੇ। ਪਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਜ਼ਿਂਮੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਕੰਮ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਇਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਹੈ! ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਮੂਹ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਨੂਰ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਤੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੋਖ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਹੋਵੇਂਗਾ।”

7 Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰੱਖ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਖਾ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਨਿਮਾਣਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਪਰ ਰਾਜੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣਗੇ। ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਲੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਮਹਾਨ ਨੇਤਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਝੁਕਣਗੇ।” ਇਹ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰੱਖ, ਇਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਓਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਸੀ।

8 Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਇੱਥੇ ਖਾਸ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਦਰਸਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾਵਾਂ ਸੁਣ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਖਾਸ ਦਿਹਾੜਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ। ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਹੁਣ ਦੇਸ਼ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਧਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਦੇ ਦਿਓਗੇ ਜੋ ਇਸਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਸਨ।

9 That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੈਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋਂਗੇ, ‘ਆਪਣੀ ਕੈਦ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆ ਜਾਵੋ!’ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋਂਗੇ ਜੋ ਅੰਧਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ, ‘ਅੰਧਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿਕਲ ਆਵੋ!’ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਸਮੇਂ ਲੋਕ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਸੱਖਣੀਆਂ ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਭੋਜਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

10 They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.ਲੋਕ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਪਿਆਸੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਧੁੱਪ ਅਤੇ ਹਵਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁਚਾਵੇਗੀ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਕੂਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਝਰਨਿਆਂ ਵੱਲ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

11 And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਰਾਹ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਪਰਬਤ ਪੱਧਰੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਤੇ ਨੀਵੀਆਂ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।

12 Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.“ਦੇਖੋ! ਲੋਕ ਦੂਰ-ਦੁਰਾਡੀਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ। ਲੋਕ ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਛਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ। ਲੋਕ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਸਵਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ।”

13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.ਹੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀਏ, ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਵੋ! ਪਰਬਤੋਂ, ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਹਰੇ ਮਾਰੋ! ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਕੂਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਗਰੀਬ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨੇਕੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

14 But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.ਪਰ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਹੁਣ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।”

15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, “ਕੀ ਕੋਈ ਮਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਹੈ? ਨਹੀਂ! ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਵੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੂਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੁੱਲਾਂਗਾ।

16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.ਦੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਾਮ ਆਪਣੀ ਹਬੇਲੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ!

17 Thy children shall make haste; thy destroyers and they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee.ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਪਰਤ ਆਉਣਗੇ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਇਆ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਲਿਆਂ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਣਗੇ।”

18 Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the LORD, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth.ਓਧਰ ਦੇਖੋ! ਆਪਣੇ ਚਾਰ-ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਦੇਖੋ! ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਬੱਚੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ ਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸੌਂਹ ਖਾਕੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ: ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਮੋਤੀਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਗਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਉਸ ਹਾਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵਹੁਟੀ ਪਹਿਨਦੀ ਹੈ।

19 For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.“ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੋ। ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਬੋੜੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ, ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਬੰਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਬਹੁਤ ਦੂਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

20 The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਚੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਕੱਾਰਣ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਬੱਚੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਣਗੇ, ‘ਇਹ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਛੋਟੀ ਹੈ! ਸ਼ਾਨੂੰ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਦੇਵੋ।’

21 Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been?ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋਂਗੇ, ‘ਕਿਸਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ? ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਚੰਗੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ! ਮੈਂ ਉਦਾਸ ਤੇ ਇੱਕਲਾ ਸਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਹਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਸਾਂ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿਸਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਬੱਚੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ? ਦੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕਲਾ ਰਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਸਾਂ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਆ ਗਏ ਨੇ?’”

22 Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਦੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਹਿਲਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਝੰਡਾ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਫੇਰ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਢਿਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਚੁੱਕਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ।

23 And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.ਰਾਜੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੇਖ-ਭਾਲ ਕਰਨਗੀਆਂ। ਉਹ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਝੁਕਣਗੀਆਂ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਖਾਕ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੰਮਣਗੀਆਂ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣੋਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ। ਫੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣੋਗੇ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”

24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਤਕੜਾ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੌਲਤ ਜਿਤ੍ਤਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਦੌਲਤ ਉਸ ਕੋਲੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਖੋਹ ਸੱਕਦੇ। ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਤਕੜਾ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੈਦੀ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਦਾ, ਉਹ ਕੈਦੀ ਬਚਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਸੱਕਦਾ।

25 But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਕੈਦੀ ਫ਼ਰਾਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਕੋਈ ਜਾਣਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੈਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਕੜੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਖੋਹ ਲਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ? ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਲੜਾਈਆਂ ਲੜਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵਾਂਗਾ।

26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਜਿਸਮ ਖਾਣ ਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੀ ਖੂਨ ਮੈਅ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਮਸਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਹਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਾਣ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ। ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਬੰਦੇ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਪੁਰੱਖ ਨੇ ਬਚਾਇਆ।”
