ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਤਾਕਤ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਗਏ-ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਲਾਗ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਲੈ ਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ।

his generation? דּוֹר֖וֹ dôr dore
and who מִ֣י mî mee
shall declare יְשׂוֹחֵ֑חַ śîaḥ SEE-ak
for כִּ֤י kî kee
he was cut off נִגְזַר֙ gāzar ɡa-ZAHR
out of the land מֵאֶ֣רֶץ ʾereṣ eh-RETS
of the living: חַיִּ֔ים ḥay hai
for the transgression מִפֶּ֥שַׁע pešaʿ peh-SHA
of my people עַמִּ֖י ʿam am
was he stricken. נֶ֥גַע negaʿ neh-ɡA
