ਭੈਭੀਤ ਨਾ ਹੋ! ਤੂੰ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਂਗੀ, ਲੋਕ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਤੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਂਗੀ, ਤੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਜਵਾਨ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਵੇਂਗੀ। ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਤੂੰ ਉਦੋਂ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਤੀ ਖੁਸਿਆ ਸੀ।

be thou confounded; תִּכָּלְמִ֖י kālam ka-LAHM

thou shalt not לֹ֣א lōʾ loh
be put to shame: תַחְפִּ֑ירִי ḥāpēr ha-FARE
for כִּ֣י kî kee
the shame בֹ֤שֶׁת bōšet boh-SHET
of thy youth, עֲלוּמַ֙יִךְ֙ ʿālûm ah-LOOM
thou shalt forget תִּשְׁכָּ֔חִי šākaḥ sha-HAHK
the reproach וְחֶרְפַּ֥ת ḥerpâ her-PA
of thy widowhood any more. אַלְמְנוּתַ֖יִךְ ʾalmānût al-ma-NOOT
and shalt not לֹ֥א lōʾ loh
remember תִזְכְּרִי zākar za-HAHR
עֽוֹד׃ ʿôd ode
