Isaiah 55:10
“ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਮੀਂਹ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਫ਼ ਵਰ੍ਹਦੀ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਵਾਪਸ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਂਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੀ, ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੂਂਹਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਭਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਪੌਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਗਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਵੱਧਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪੌਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਬੀਜ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਨੇ।

cometh down, יֵרֵד֩ yārad ya-RAHD
the rain הַגֶּ֨שֶׁם gešem ɡeh-SHEM
and the snow וְהַשֶּׁ֜לֶג šeleg sheh-LEɡ
from מִן min meen
heaven, הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם šāmayim sha-ma-YEEM
thither, וְשָׁ֙מָּה֙ šām shahm
not לֹ֣א lōʾ loh
and returneth יָשׁ֔וּב šûb shoov
but כִּ֚י kî kee
אִם ʾim eem
watereth הִרְוָ֣ה rāwâ ra-VA
אֶת ʾēt ate
the earth, הָאָ֔רֶץ ʾereṣ eh-RETS
and maketh it bring forth וְהוֹלִידָ֖הּ yālad ya-LAHD
and bud, וְהִצְמִיחָ֑הּ ṣāmaḥ tsa-MAHK
that it may give וְנָ֤תַן nātan na-TAHN
seed זֶ֙רַע֙ zeraʿ zeh-RA
to the sower, לַזֹּרֵ֔עַ zāraʿ za-RA
and bread וְלֶ֖חֶם leḥem leh-HEM
to the eater: לָאֹכֵֽל׃ ʾākal ah-HAHL
