Isaiah 60 - DBY (Punjabi)

1 Arise, shine! for thy light is come, and the glory of Jehovah is risen upon thee.ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ “ਹੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ, ਮੇਰੇ ਨੂਰ, ਉੱਠ। ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨੂਰ (ਯਹੋਵਾਹ) ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਮਕੇਗਾ।

2 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples; but Jehovah will arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen on thee.ਹੁਣ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਅੰਧਕਾਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਨੇ। ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਮਕੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

3 And the nations shall walk by thy light, and kings by the brightness of thy rising.ਕੌਮਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨੂਰ ਵੱਲ ਆਉਣਗੀਆਂ। ਰਾਜੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੇਜ਼ ਚਾਨਣ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਣਗੇ।

4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons come from afar, and thy daughters are carried upon the side.ਆਪਣੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇਖੋ। ਦੇਖੋ ਚਾਰ-ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵੱਲ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਦੂਰ-ਦੁਰਾਡਿਓ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੇ। ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਨੇ।

5 Then thou shalt see, and shalt be brightened, and thy heart shall throb, and be enlarged; for the abundance of the sea shall be turned unto thee, the wealth of the nations shall come unto thee.“ਇਹ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ। ਤੇ ਓਸ ਵੇਲੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਚਿਹਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਚਮਕਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਖੋਂਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਪਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉੱਤੇਜਿਤ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ! ਸਮੁੰਦਰੋ ਪਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਦੌਲਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੌਲਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਣਗੀਆਂ।

6 A multitude of camels shall cover thee, young camels of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall publish the praises of Jehovah.ਮਿਦਯਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਏਫਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਊਠਾਂ ਦੇ ਝੁਂਡ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੰਘਣਗੇ। ਸ਼ਬਾ ਤੋਂ ਊਠਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੰਮੀਆਂ ਕਤਾਰਾਂ ਆਉਣਗੀਆਂ। ਉਹ ਸੋਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਗੰਧੀਆਂ ਲਿਆਉਣਗੇ। ਲੋਕ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਣਗੇ।

7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall serve thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will beautify the house of my magnificence.ਲੋਕ ਕੇਦਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਇਕੱਠੀਆਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਨਬਾਯੋਬ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੁਂਬੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵੋਂਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਮੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਰ ਵੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ।

8 Who are these that come flying as a cloud, and as doves to their dove-cotes?ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖੋ! ਉਹ ਕਾਹਲੀ-ਕਾਹਲੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬੱਦਲ ਲੰਘਦੇ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਅਲ੍ਹਣਿਆਂ ਵੱਲ ਪਰਤਦੀਆਂ ਘੁੱਗੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਹਨ।

9 For the isles shall await me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of Jehovah thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, for he hath glorified thee.ਦੂਰ-ਦੁਰਾਡੇ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਮੇਰਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ। ਵੱਡੇ ਮਾਲ ਵਾਹਕ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਚੱਲਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ-ਦੁਰਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰੱਖ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨਾ ਲਿਆਉਣਗੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

10 And the sons of the alien shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee. For in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਮੁੜਕੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਉਸਾਰਨਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ। “ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਭੁੱਖਾ ਸਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਕੂਨ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।

11 And thy gates shall stand open continually: (they shall not be shut day nor night,) that the wealth of the nations may be brought unto thee, and that their kings may be led [to thee].ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਖੁਲ੍ਹੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਜਾਂ ਰਾਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਬੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਕੌਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣਗੇ।

12 For the nation and the kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; and those nations shall be utterly wasted.ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਕੌਮ ਜਾਂ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੀ, ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

13 The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the cypress, pine, and box-tree together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਚੀਲ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ, ਚਨਾਰ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੂ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣਗੇ। ਇਹ ਰੁੱਖ, ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲੱਕੜ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਇਹ ਸਥਾਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਣ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਇੱਕ ਮੇਜ਼ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾਣ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।

14 And the children of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee The city of Jehovah, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਝੁਕਣਗੇ। ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਝੁਕਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ’ ‘ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰੱਖ ਦਾ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਬੁਲਾਉਣਗੇ।’”

15 Instead of thy being forsaken and hated, so that no one went through [thee], I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy from generation to generation.“ਤੁਸੀਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਇੱਕਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡੇ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਸੱਖਣੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਹਾਨ ਬਣਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਦਾ-ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਵੋ।

16 And thou shalt suck the milk of the nations, and shalt suck the breast of kings; and thou shalt know that I, Jehovah, [am] thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.ਕੌਮਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਣਗੀਆਂ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਉਸ ਬੱਚੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਛਾਤੀ ਦਾ ਦੁੱਧ ਪੀਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੌਲਤਾਂ ਪੀਵੋਂਗੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਲਵੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮੈਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੀ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

17 For bronze I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood bronze, and for stones iron; and I will make thine officers peace, and thy rulers righteousness.“ਹੁਣ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਸੋਨਾ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਹੁਣ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਲੋਹਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਲੱਕੜ ਨੂੰ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ ਅਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਹੁਣ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਲੋਕ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅੰਦਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਖਬਰਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਲੋਕ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਕਦੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ‘ਮੁਕਤੀ’ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਦਿਓਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ‘ਉਸਤਤ’ ਰੱਖੋਂਗੇ।

19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day, neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee; but Jehovah shall be thine everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.“ਦਿਨ ਵੇਲੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸੂਰਜ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਚੰਨ ਦੀ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਰਾਤ ਦੀ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

20 Thy sun shall no more go down, neither shall thy moon withdraw itself; for Jehovah shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸੂਰਜ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੁੱਪੇਗਾ। ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਚੰਨ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall possess the land for ever -- the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.“ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਨੇਕ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਧਰਤੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਪੌਦਾ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥੀਂ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਸੀ।

22 The little one shall become a thousand, and the smallest a mighty nation: I, Jehovah, will hasten it in its time.ਛੋਟੇ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੀ ਵੱਡਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਬਣ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਛੋਟੇ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਕੌਮ ਬਣ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਢੁਕਵਾਂ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾਂ, ਮੈਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।”
