Jeremiah 14:17
“ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਸੁਣਾ: ‘ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੰਝੂ ਭਰੇ ਨੇ। ਮੈਂ ਦਿਨ-ਰਾਤ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਰੋਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੁਆਰੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ (ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ) ਲਈ ਰੋਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਰੋਵਾਂਗਾ। ਕਿਉਂ? ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਚਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਨੇ।
