Jeremiah 16:13
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ! ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਬਗਾਨੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰੁੱਖਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਕੋਈ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਰਿਆਇਤ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।’

| not, | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| neither ye | יְדַעְתֶּ֔ם | yĕdaʿtem | yeh-da-TEM |
| fathers; your nor | אַתֶּ֖ם | ʾattem | ah-TEM |
| and there | וַאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם | waʾăbôtêkem | va-uh-voh-tay-HEM |
| shall ye serve | וַעֲבַדְתֶּם | waʿăbadtem | va-uh-vahd-TEM |
