ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਂਨੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ, ਭੁੱਖ ਨਂਗ ਅਤੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਓਗੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ।

by the sword, בַּחֶ֖רֶב ḥereb heh-REV
by the famine, בָּרָעָ֣ב rāʿāb ra-AV
and by the pestilence, וּבַדָּ֑בֶר֙ deber deh-VER
as כַּֽאֲשֶׁר֙ ʾăšer uh-SHER
hath spoken דִּבֶּ֣ר dābar da-VAHR
the Lord יְהוָ֔ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
against אֶל ʾēl ale
the nation הַגּ֕וֹי gôy ɡoy
that אֲשֶׁ֥ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
will not לֹֽא lōʾ loh
serve יַעֲבֹ֖ד ʿābad ah-VAHD
אֶת ʾēt ate
the king מֶ֥לֶךְ melek meh-LEK
of Babylon? בָּבֶֽל׃ bābel ba-VEL
