Jeremiah 51:48
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਉਹ ਸ਼ੈਅ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਹੈ, ਬਾਬਲ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਿਲਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਮਾਰੇਗੀ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਮਚਾਉਣਗੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਆਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੜੀ ਸੀ।” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ।

| Babylon: | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| for | בָּהֶ֑ם | bāhem | ba-HEM |
| the spoilers | כִּ֧י | kî | kee |
| shall come | מִצָּפ֛וֹן | miṣṣāpôn | mee-tsa-FONE |
| north, the from her unto | יָבוֹא | yābôʾ | ya-VOH |
| saith | לָ֥הּ | lāh | la |
| the Lord. | הַשּׁוֹדְדִ֖ים | haššôdĕdîm | ha-shoh-deh-DEEM |
| נְאֻם | nĕʾum | neh-OOM | |
