Job 42 - DBY (Punjabi)

1 And Job answered Jehovah and said,ਅੱਯੂਬ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬ ਫਿਰ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਅਖਿਆ:

2 I know that thou canst do everything, and that thou canst be hindered in no thought of thine.“ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੀ, ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਰੋਕ ਜਾਂ ਬਦਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦਾ।

3 Who is he that obscureth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered what I did not understand; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ: ‘ਇਹ ਮੂਰਖ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਇਹ ਅਗਿਆਨੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ?’ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਹੈਰਾਨਕੁਨ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਮਝ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਸਨ।

4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and inform me.“ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ‘ਅੱਯੂਬ ਸੁਣ, ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਬੋਲਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛਾਂਗਾ, ਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇਵੇਂਗਾ।’

5 I had heard of thee by the hearing of the ear, but now mine eye seeth thee:ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੀ ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

6 Wherefore I abhor [myself], and repent in dust and ashes.ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੀ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਘੱਟੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਆਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਅਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਣ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।”

7 And it came to pass after Jehovah had spoken these words to Job, that Jehovah said to Eliphaz the Temanite, Mine anger is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends; for ye have not spoken rightly of me, like my servant Job.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਵਾਪਸ ਦੇਣਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਲਈਆਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੇਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਅਲੀਫਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਲੀਫਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਲੀਫਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹਾਂ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ। ਪਰ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਹੈ, ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਹੀ-ਸਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ।

8 And now, take for yourselves seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt-offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you, for him will I accept: lest I deal with you [after your] folly, for ye have not spoken of me rightly, like my servant Job.ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਲੀਫਜ਼, ਸੱਤ ਬਲਦ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਤ ਭੇਡੂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਲਈ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ। ਮੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸੁਣਾਂਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ, ਜਿਸਦੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹੋ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਮੂਰਖ ਸੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ। ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ।”

9 Then Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite, went and did according as Jehovah had said unto them; and Jehovah accepted Job.ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇਮਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਅਲੀਫਜ਼ ਸ਼ੂਹੀ ਦੇ ਬਿਲਦਦ ਅਤੇ ਨਅਮਾਤੀ ਦੇ ਸੋਫਰ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਮੰਨੀ। ਫਿਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸੁਣੀ।

10 And Jehovah turned the captivity of Job, when he had prayed for his friends; and Jehovah gave Job twice as much as he had before.ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਫਿਰ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਫਲ ਬਣਾਇਆ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਦੁੱਗਣਾ ਦਤ੍ਤਾ।

11 And all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, came to him, and they ate bread with him in his house, and they condoled with him, and comforted him concerning all the evil that Jehovah had brought upon him; and every one gave him a piece of money, and every one a golden ring.ਫਿਰ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਰਾ ਤੇ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਆਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨਾਲ ਦਾਅਵਤ ਖਾਧੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਨੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਇਆ। ਹਰ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਸਿੱਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਛੱਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

12 And Jehovah blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning; and he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she-asses.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ 14,000 ਭੇਡਾਂ 6,000 ਊਠ 2,000 ਗਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ 1,000 ਗਧੀਆਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ।

13 And he had seven sons and three daughters.ਅੱਯੂਬ ਦੇ ਸੱਤ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਤੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਧੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਹੋਈਆਂ।

14 And he called the name of the first, Jemimah; and the name of the second, Keziah; and the name of the third, Keren-happuch.ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਧੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਯਮੀਮਾਹ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਦੂਜੀ ਧੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਕਸੀਆਹ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਤੀਜੀ ਧੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਕਰਨ-ਹੱਪੂਕ ਰੱਖਿਆ।

15 And in all the land were no women found [so] fair as the daughters of Job; and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.ਅੱਯੂਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਨ। ਅਤੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।

16 And Job lived after this a hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, four generations.ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਯੂਬ 140 ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਰ ਜੀਵਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਆੱਪਣੇ ਪੋਤਿਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੜ-ਪੋਤਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਚੌਥੀ ਪੀੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਦੇਖਿਆ।

17 And Job died, old and full of days.ਅੱਯੂਬ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਤੱਕ, ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਜੀਵਿਆ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਚੰਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਲੰਮੀ ਉਮਰ ਭੋਗੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
