Jonah 4:8
ਜਦੋਂ ਸੂਰਜ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਚਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਤੱਤੀ ਹਵਾ ਵਗਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਯੂਨਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਤਪਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ। ਯੂਨਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਰ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਅਜਿਹੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਜਿਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਤਾਂ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਮਰ ਜਾਵਾਂ।”

Revelation 7:16
ਉਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਪਿਆਸੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਸੂਰਜ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁਚਾਏਗਾ। ਕੋਈ ਤਪਸ਼ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜੇਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ।

Jonah 4:6
ਕੱਦ ਦਾ ਪੌਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੀੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਯੂਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਕੱਦ ਦਾ ਬੂਟਾ ਉਗਾਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਯੂਨਾਹ ਇਸਦੀ ਛਾਵੇਂ ਬੈਠ ਸੱਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਗਰਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਸੱਕੇ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਯੂਨਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਬੜਾ ਆਰਾਮ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਬੂਟੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਬੜਾ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸੀ।

ਭਿਅੰਕਰ ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਿਅੰਕਰ ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਲੈ ਆਉਂਦਾ। ਹਨੇਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਉੱਠ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਇੰਨਾ ਭਿਅੰਕਰ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਬੇੜੀ ਟੁੱਟਣ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਰ ਸੀ।

ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਮੂਰਖ ਔਰਤ ਵਾਂਗ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੀਁ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ।” ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰੀਆਂ। ਪਰ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਪਾਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਿਆ।
2 Samuel 15:25
ਤਦ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਸਾਦੋਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੋੜ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੋ। ਜੇਕਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਹੋਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ’ਚ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਕਰਾਵੇਗਾ।
1 Samuel 3:18
ਤਾਂ ਸਮੂਏਲ ਨੇ ਏਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਸਮੂਏਲ ਨੇ ਏਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਲੁਕੋਇਆ। ਏਲੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਜੋ ਚਾਹੇ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਹੱਕ ਹੈ।”
Leviticus 10:3
ਤਾਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਜਿਹੜੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਉਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।’” ਹਾਰੂਨ ਚੁੱਪ-ਚਾਪ ਸੀ।
