ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਕਸਬੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਖੇਤ ਦਿੱਤੇ:

of the Lord, יְהוָ֑ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
אֶת ʾēt ate
cities הֶֽעָרִ֥ים ʿîr eer
these הָאֵ֖לֶּה ʾēlle ay-LEH
וְאֶת ʾēt ate
and their suburbs. מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶֽן׃ migroš meeɡ-ROHSH
