“ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਅਮੋਰੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਛੱਡਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਛੱਡਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ?

the Amorites הָ֣אֱמֹרִ֔י ʾĕmōrî ay-moh-REE
from before מִפְּנֵ֖י pānîm pa-NEEM
his people עַמּ֣וֹ ʿam am
Israel, יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiśrāʾēl yees-ra-ALE
and shouldest thou וְאַתָּ֖ה ʾattâ ah-TA
possess it? תִּֽירָשֶֽׁנּוּ׃ yāraš ya-RAHSH
