Leviticus 18:21
“ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੀ ਮੋਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਬਲੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਾਦਰ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ।

| neither | וְלֹ֧א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| shalt thou profane | תְחַלֵּ֛ל | tĕḥallēl | teh-ha-LALE |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| name the | שֵׁ֥ם | šēm | shame |
| of thy God: | אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ | ʾĕlōhêkā | ay-loh-HAY-ha |
