Leviticus 22:2

ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਅ ਜਾਂ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਹੋਰ ਮੈਅ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੀਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਕਾ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੀਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੈਅ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਹੋਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਗੂਰਾ ਦਾ ਰਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੀਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਅੰਗੂਰ ਜਾਂ ਸੌਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ।
Leviticus 22:3
ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੂੰਹਦਾ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਪਲੀਤ ਹੋਵੇ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਅਲੱਗ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ।
Leviticus 21:6
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਾਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵੇ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਭੋਜਨ) ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
Leviticus 20:3
ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਾਦਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਲੀਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Leviticus 15:31
“ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਲੀਤ ਹੋਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿਉਂਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤੰਬੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਲੀਤ ਕਰ ਦੇਣ। ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਨਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।”
