Leviticus 25:2
“ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ; ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਵੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਸਮਾਂ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

Leviticus 26:34
“ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਸੱਖਣਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਆਖਰਕਾਰ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਰਾਮ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਧਰਤੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਣੇਗੀ।

Isaiah 8:8

Psalm 115:16
ਸਵਰਗ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਹੀ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ, ਇਸਹਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਿਖਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦਾ।’”
Deuteronomy 32:49
“ਅਬਰੀਮ ਪਰਬਤ ਵੱਲ ਜਾ। ਯਰੀਹੋ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਬੋ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੂੰ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੀ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇਖ ਸੱਕੇਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।
Deuteronomy 32:8
ਸਰਬ ਉੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਖ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਰਹੱਦਾਂ ਥਾਪੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਓਨੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਸਾਜੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਕਿ ਇੱਥੇ ਦੂਤ ਹਨ।
Leviticus 23:32
ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਅਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਦਿਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਖਾਸ ਦਿਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਨੌਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ-ਇਹ ਅਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਦਿਨ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅਗਲੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੱਕ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ।”
Leviticus 14:34
“ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਉੱਥੇ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਘਰੇ ਫ਼ਫ਼ੂੰਦੀ ਉਗਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਬਣ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
