Leviticus 26:43
“ਧਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਲੋਕਾਂ) ਤੋਂ ਖਾਲੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਣੇਗੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰ ਲੈਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
