Leviticus 6:9
“ਹਾਰੂਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿਉ; ਇਹ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਦੀ ਬਿਧੀ ਹੈ। ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਸਾਰੀ ਰਾਤ, ਸਵੇਰ ਹੋਣ ਤੀਕ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਿਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਬਲਦੀ ਰਹਿਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
