Leviticus 9:1
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅੱਠਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ, ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸੱਦਿਆ।

“ਅੱਠਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ, ਜਿਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਚਮੜੀ ਦਾ ਰੋਗ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਬੇਨੁਕਸ ਲੇਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਲੇਲੀ ਲਿਆਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਲ ਮਿਲਿਆ 24 ਕੱਪ ਮੈਦਾ ਅਤੇ 2/3 ਪਿੰਟ ਜੈਤੂਨ ਦਾ ਤੇਲ ਵੀ ਲਿਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

“ਅੱਠਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ, ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਾਜਕ ਕੋਲ ਇਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ।
Leviticus 15:14
ਅੱਠਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ, ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਦੋ ਘੁੱਗੀਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਦੋ ਕਬੂਤਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਵੇ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਪੰਛੀ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਅੱਠਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ, ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਘੁੱਗੀਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਦੋ ਕਬੂਤਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਤੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
