ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਸੱਚੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਮਸੀਹ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਹੁਣੇ ਉਹ ਸਲੀਬੋਂ ਉਤਰ ਆਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੇ, ਤਦ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਪਰਤੀਤ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ।” ਜਿਹੜੇ ਚੋਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖੱਬੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਸਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਉਡਾਇਆ।
