Nahum 3:10
ਪਰ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਵੀ ਬੀਬਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਰ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸੀਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਏ ਗਏ। ਹਰ ਗਲੀ ਦੀ ਨੁਕੱੜ ਤੇ ਸੈਨਿਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ-ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਘਾਟ ਉਤਾਰਿਆ। ਖਾਸ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਣੇ ਪਾਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੀਬਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੰਜੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੜਕਿਆ।

Isaiah 13:16

Lamentations 4:1

Isaiah 13:6

Psalm 33:16
ਰਾਜਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਵੱਡੇ ਬਲ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ। ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਯੋਧਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੀ ਵੱਡੇ ਬਲ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ।

ਹਜ਼ਾਏਲ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਸੁਆਮੀ, ਤੂੰ ਰੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ?” ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ “ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਰੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਬਦੀ ਤੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ। ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਦੇਵੇਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੌਜੁਆਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟੇਗਾ। ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਸੂਮ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਾਰ ਮੁਕਾਵੇਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਚੀਰ ਸੁੱਟੇਂਗਾ।”
