Numbers 20:17
ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੰਘ ਲੈਣ ਦਿਉ। ਅਸੀਂ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਅੰਗੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਗੀਚਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੰਘਾਂਗੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਖੂਹ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੀਵਾਂਗੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਸੜਕ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਘਾਗੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਸੜਕ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਜਾਂ ਖੱਬੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੇ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗੁਜ਼ਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਜਾਣ ਤੀਕ ਸੜਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੀ ਚੱਲਾਂਗੇ।”
