Numbers 20 - WBT (Punjabi)

1 Then came the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month; and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there.ਮਿਰਯਮ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਸੀਨਈ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਕਾਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਠਹਿਰੇ। ਮਿਰਯਮ ਮਰ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਈ ਗਈ।

2 And there was no water for the congregation: and they assembled themselves against Moses and against Aaron.ਮੂਸਾ ਇੱਕ ਗਲਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਪੀਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲੋਕ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਕੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਕੋਲ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆ ਗਏ।

3 And the people chid with Moses, and spoke, saying, O that we had died when our brethren died before the LORD!ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨਾਲ ਝਗੜਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੋਰਨਾ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਮਰ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

4 And why have ye brought the congregation of the LORD into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there?ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਏ ਹੋ? ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਇੱਥੇ ਮਰ ਜਾਈਏ?

5 And why have ye conducted us from Egypt, to bring us to this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਏ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਭੈੜੀ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਏ। ਇੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਅਨਾਜ ਨਹੀਂ। ਇੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਅੰਜੀਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਅੰਗੂਰ ਜਾਂ ਅਨਾਰ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਪੀਣ ਲਈ ਪਾਣੀ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ।”

6 And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the LORD appeared to them.ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੀੜ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਵੱਲ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵੱਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਝੁਕ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਵੇਖਿਆ।

7 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ,

8 Take the rod, and convene thou the assembly, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye to the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth its water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give drink to the congregation and their beasts.“ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਖਾਸ ਰੋਟੀ ਲੈ ਆ। ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੀੜ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਵੱਲ ਜਾ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ, ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਗ ਤੁਰੇਗਾ। ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਪਾਣੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।”

9 And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him.ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੋਟੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ। ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਕਹੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੋਟੀ ਚੁੱਕ ਲਈ।

10 And Moses and Aaron assembled the congregation before the rock, and he said to them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣੋ। ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਗਾਵਾਂਗਾ।”

11 And Moses lifted his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਵਾਰ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੋਟ ਕੀਤੀ। ਚੱਟਾਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਗਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੀਤਾ।

12 And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਆਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ।”

13 This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified in them.ਇਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਰੀਬਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਸੀ। ਇਹੀ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਸੀ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਝਗੜਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹੀ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਸੀ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸੀ।

14 And Moses sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom, Thus saith thy brother Israel, Thou knowest all the travail that hath befallen us:ਅਦੋਮ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਲੰਘਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਕਾਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਕੇ ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਵੱਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ: “ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਭਰਾ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ: ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਕੀ-ਕੀ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਝੱਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

15 How our fathers went down into Egypt, and we have dwelt in Egypt a long time; and the Egyptians afflicted us, and our fathers:ਬਹੁਤ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਸਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਰਹੇ। ਮਿਸਰੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੁਰਾ ਵਿਹਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।

16 And when we cried to the LORD, he heard our voice, and sent an angel, and hath brought us forth from Egypt: and behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the uttermost of thy border:ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਮੰਗੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਫ਼ਰਿਆਦ ਸੁਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। “ਹੁਣ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਾਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

17 Let us pass, I pray thee, through thy country: we will not pass through the fields, or through the vineyards, neither will we drink of the water of the wells: we will go by the king's high-way, we will not turn to the right hand nor to the left, until we have passed thy borders.ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੰਘ ਲੈਣ ਦਿਉ। ਅਸੀਂ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਅੰਗੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਗੀਚਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੰਘਾਂਗੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਖੂਹ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੀਵਾਂਗੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਸੜਕ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਘਾਗੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਸੜਕ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਜਾਂ ਖੱਬੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੇ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗੁਜ਼ਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਜਾਣ ਤੀਕ ਸੜਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੀ ਚੱਲਾਂਗੇ।”

18 And Edom said to him, Thou shalt not pass by me, lest I come out against thee with the sword.ਪਰ ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਾ ਲੰਘੇ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੋਕੇ ਗੁਜਰੋਂਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਕੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਤਲਵਾਰਾ ਨਾਲ ਜੰਗ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ।”

19 And the children of Israel said to him, We will go by the highway: and if I and my cattle drink of thy water, then I will pay for it: I will only, without doing any thing else, go through on my feet.ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਸੜਕ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਘਾਗੇ। ਜੇਕਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੀਣਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸਦਾ ਮੁੱਲ ਤਾਰਾਂਗੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੰਘਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਜਿੱਤਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ।”

20 And he said, Thou shalt not go through. And Edom came out against him with many people, and with a strong hand.ਪਰ ਅਦੋਮ ਨੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੜਨ ਦਿਆਂਗੇ।” ਫ਼ੇਰ ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ।

21 Thus Edom refused to give Israel passage through his border: wherefore Israel turned away from him.ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੰਘਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੋਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਮੁੜ ਪਏ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਰਾਹ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ।

22 And the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, journeyed from Kadesh, and came to mount Hor.ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਕਾਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲ ਕੇ “ਹੋਰ ਪਹਾੜੀ” ਵੱਲ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ।

23 And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron in mount Hor, by the coast of the land of Edom, saying,“ਹੋਰ ਪਹਾੜੀ” ਅਦੋਮ ਦੀ ਸੀਮਾ ਲਾਗੇ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ,

24 Aaron shall be gathered to his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given to the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah.“ਹੁਣ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਦਾ ਵੇਲਾ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਹਾਰੂਨ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮੂਸਾ, ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਸ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਰੀਬਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਕੰਢੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।

25 Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up to mount Hor:“ਹੁਣ, ਹਾਰੂਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਨੂੰ ‘ਹੋਰ ਪਹਾੜੀ’ ਉੱਪਰ ਲੈ ਆ।

26 And strip Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered to his people, and shall die there.ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਖਾਸ ਵਸਤਰ ਉਸ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਲੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਨਾ ਦੇ, ਹਾਰੂਨ ਉੱਥੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਚੱਲਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।”

27 And Moses did as the LORD commanded: and they ascended mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation.ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਮੰਨ ਲਿਆ। ਮੂਸਾ, ਹਾਰੂਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਹੋਰ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦਿਆ ਦੇਖਿਆ।

28 And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there on the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount.ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਖਾਸ ਵਸਤਰ ਉਤਾਰ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵਸਤਰ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਨਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾਕੇ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ। ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਆਏ।

29 And when all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, they mourned for Aaron thirty days, even all the house of Israel.ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਮਰ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੇ 30 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੋਗ ਮਨਾਇਆ।
