Numbers 33:55
“ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਿਉਂਗੇ, ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਬੜੀਆਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲਾਂ ਖੜੀਆਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਅੱਖ ਉਤਲੇ ਫ਼ੋੜੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਖੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੁਭੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੰਡੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰਹੋਂਗੇ ਬੜੀਆਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

| of them shall be pricks | מֵהֶ֔ם | mēhem | may-HEM |
| eyes, your in | לְשִׂכִּים֙ | lĕśikkîm | leh-see-KEEM |
| and thorns | בְּעֵ֣ינֵיכֶ֔ם | bĕʿênêkem | beh-A-nay-HEM |
| sides, your in | וְלִצְנִינִ֖ם | wĕliṣnînim | veh-leets-nee-NEEM |
| and shall vex | בְּצִדֵּיכֶ֑ם | bĕṣiddêkem | beh-tsee-day-HEM |
| in you | וְצָֽרְר֣וּ | wĕṣārĕrû | veh-tsa-reh-ROO |
| the land | אֶתְכֶ֔ם | ʾetkem | et-HEM |
