Numbers 5:27
ਜੇ ਉਸ ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਤਾਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਵੇਗਾ। ਪਾਣੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵੀ ਬੱਚਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗਰਭ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਉਹ ਜੰਮਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਬੱਚੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੇਗੀ। ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

| against her husband, | בְּאִישָׁהּ֒ | bĕʾîšāh | beh-ee-SHA |
| water the that | וּבָ֨אוּ | ûbāʾû | oo-VA-oo |
| that causeth the curse | בָ֜הּ | bāh | va |
| shall enter | הַמַּ֤יִם | hammayim | ha-MA-yeem |
| bitter, become and her, into | הַמְאָֽרֲרִים֙ | hamʾārărîm | hahm-ah-ruh-REEM |
| and her belly | לְמָרִ֔ים | lĕmārîm | leh-ma-REEM |
| swell, shall | וְצָֽבְתָ֣ה | wĕṣābĕtâ | veh-tsa-veh-TA |
| and her thigh | בִטְנָ֔הּ | biṭnāh | veet-NA |
| shall rot: | וְנָֽפְלָ֖ה | wĕnāpĕlâ | veh-na-feh-LA |
| woman the and | יְרֵכָ֑הּ | yĕrēkāh | yeh-ray-HA |
| shall be | וְהָֽיְתָ֧ה | wĕhāyĕtâ | veh-ha-yeh-TA |
| a curse | הָֽאִשָּׁ֛ה | hāʾiššâ | ha-ee-SHA |
| among | לְאָלָ֖ה | lĕʾālâ | leh-ah-LA |
