ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੜ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਉ ਕੋਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਨਾ ਜਾਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ 1,000 ਸਿਪਾਹਈਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਗੂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।

ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦਾ ਦਾਊਦ ਤੋਂ ਭੈਅ ਖਾਣਾ ਅਗਲੇ ਹੀ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਆਤਮੇ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਉੱਪਰ ਵੱਸ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਪਾਗਲਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਵਤੀਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ। ਦਾਊਦ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਠੀਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬਰਬਤ ਵਜਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ।

ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 31:2
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਦਾ ਵਿਵਹਾਰ ਵੀ ਹੁਣ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਦੋਸਤਾਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।

ਸਿਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਚਿਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਰਾਜੇ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੌੜਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਓੱਥੇ ਲੱਕੜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਢੇਰ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਬਲਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਗੰਧਕ ਦੀ ਨਦੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਸੁੱਟੇਗਾ।
