ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਉੱਪਰ ਆਪਣਾ ਰਾਜ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨਵਾਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੋਇਆ। ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਏਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੋਸ਼ੇਆ ਦੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ।
