੨ ਸਮੋਈਲ 3:8
ਅਬਨੇਰ ਨੇ ਈਸ਼ਬੋਸ਼ਥ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਤੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ’ਚ ਆਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਕੋਈ ਗੱਦਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਇਲਜਾਮ ਲੱਗਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਮੰਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ।
