ਉਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਫ਼ੜੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਣਗੇ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਮੀਂਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

“ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖ। ਪਰਬਤਾਂ, ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ, ਨਹਿਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ੁਬਾਨ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਕਿਉਂ? ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬੇਇੱਜ਼ਤੀ ਝੱਲਣੀ ਪਈ।’”

ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ “ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੁਣਨ ਲਈ ਆਖ!

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸ: ‘ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤੋਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਘਾਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਦੇਖੋ! ਮੈਂ (ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ) ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 29:10
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: “ਬਾਬਲ 70 ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਤੀਕ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾਂਗਾ” ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ-“ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਸੱਦ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਵੀ ਸੱਦ ਬੁਲਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਧਰਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਸਖਣੇ ਮਾਰੂਬਲ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਦੇਖਕੇ ਸੀਟੀਆਂ ਮਾਰਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਦੇਖੋ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਾਕ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 6:11
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਇਹ ਮੈਂ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਕੁ ਚਿਰ ਕਰਾਂ?” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤਬਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਗੁਜ਼ਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਉਨਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਇਹ ਕਰੋ। ਇਹੋ ਕਰੋ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਬਚੇ। ਉਨਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਇਹੋ ਕਰੋ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਧਰਤੀ ਤਬਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਖਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ।”

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸਲਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੁਆਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਜੁਆਨ ਨਾ ਕੁਆਰੀ, ਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੁੱਢੇ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੇ ਤਰਸ ਖਾਧਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
