ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਸਨ ਗਵਾਹ ਬਣ ਗਏ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਅੰਦਰ, ਰਾਖੇਲ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਆਹ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣਾਵੇ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਉਸਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਫ਼ਰਾਥਾਹ ਅੰਦਰ ਬਣ ਜਾ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ। ਬੈਤਲਹਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 29:17
ਲੇਆਹ ਜ਼ਿਆਦੇ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਰਾਖੇਲ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਮੁਟਿਆਰ ਸੀ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 29:25
ਸਵੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਲੇਆਹ ਨਾਲ ਸੁੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਖਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਰਾਖੇਲ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਦੀ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਾਂ। ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ?”
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 30:19
ਲੇਆਹ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਛੇਵੇਂ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਰਾਖੇਲ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਆਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਕੇ ਮਿਲਣ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬੱਕਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਸੀ।

ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦਾਸੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਲੇਆਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਰਾਖੇਲ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਅਖੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ।

ਰਊਬੇਨ, ਸਿਮਓਨ, ਲੇਵੀ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ, ਯਿੱਸਾਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਬੁਲੂਨ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਲੇਆਹ ਤੋਂ, ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ। ਲੇਆਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਦਨ ਅਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਧੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਦੀਨਾਹ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ 33 ਸਦੱਸ ਸਨ।
