ਜਦੋਂ ਗੋਲੀ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ।”

ਪਤਰਸ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਪਤਰਸ ਅੱਗ ਕੋਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਘਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਦੂਜੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈਂ?” ਪਰ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੇ ਹਾਮੀ ਨਾ ਭਰੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਨਹੀਂ, ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ।”

ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੋ ਭਰਾਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਣੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਗਲਤੀ ਕਰ ਲਵੇ। ਤੁਸਾਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਗਲਤ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਠੀਕ ਹੋਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਰਮਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰ ਰਹਿਣਾ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਉਕਸਾਹਟ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
