ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਰਾਹ ਨਾ ਲੱਭਿਆ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸਬੂਤ ਵਜੋਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਲੰਗੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਚੰਗਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਉਸਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਚਾਲੀ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਮਕਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
