ਜਦੋਂ ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਸੁਣਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਝੱਟ ਕਿਹਾ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ। ਇਹ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੇਲਾ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਣੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ। ਸਰਦਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਆਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਭਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੈਦ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ।
