ਪਰ ਫ਼ਿਲਿਪੁੱਸ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਲਿਆ।
