ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 22:16
ਕੁੜੀ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਆਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਧੀ ਇਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਆਹੀ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਇਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ।

| my daughter | נָתַ֜תִּי | nātattî | na-TA-tee |
| unto this | לָאִ֥ישׁ | lāʾîš | la-EESH |
| man | הַזֶּ֛ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
| wife, to | לְאִשָּׁ֖ה | lĕʾiššâ | leh-ee-SHA |
| and he hateth | וַיִּשְׂנָאֶֽהָ׃ | wayyiśnāʾehā | va-yees-na-EH-ha |
