“ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਾਂ ਸੁਣ ਲਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋ, ‘ਅੱਜ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਾਸ ਖਾਵੋਂਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਸਵੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਵੋਂਗੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ।’”

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੁਝ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਨੀਲ ਨਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਾਲੀ ਇਹ ਸੋਟੀ ਮਾਰਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਨਦੀ ਖੂਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸੁਣ ਲਈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕੱਲ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਦੇਖੋਂਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਾਂ ਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ। ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੁਝ ਅਰਾਮ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੋਂ।”
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 31:24
“ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਸਬਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਕਿਸਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਇੱਜੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਧਰ ਓਧਰ ਤੁਰਦੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਦੇ ਨੇ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਰਲ ਕੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਜਾਣ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਹਨ!” ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ!

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ।

ਫ਼ਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਬੜੇ ਸੰਕਟ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਚੋ ਇੱਕ ਤਿਹਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਪਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਂਗ ਪਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਵੇਂ ਪਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸੋਨਾ ਪਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਨਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਆਖਾਂਗਾ, ‘ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੋ।’ ਉਹ ਆਖਣਗੇ, ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਸਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ।’”
