ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 23:13
ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਅਫ਼ਰੋਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਖੇਤ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਅਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰੇ ਪੈਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰੋ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੁਰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਦਫ਼ਨਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।”

| thou | אַתָּ֥ה | ʾattâ | ah-TA |
| thee, pray I it, give wilt | ל֖וּ | lû | loo |
| hear | שְׁמָעֵ֑נִי | šĕmāʿēnî | sheh-ma-A-nee |
| give will I me: | נָתַ֜תִּי | nātattî | na-TA-tee |
| thee money | כֶּ֤סֶף | kesep | KEH-sef |
| field; the for | הַשָּׂדֶה֙ | haśśādeh | ha-sa-DEH |
| take | קַ֣ח | qaḥ | kahk |
| it of | מִמֶּ֔נִּי | mimmennî | mee-MEH-nee |
| bury will I and me, | וְאֶקְבְּרָ֥ה | wĕʾeqbĕrâ | veh-ek-beh-RA |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| my dead | מֵתִ֖י | mētî | may-TEE |
