ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਆਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਇਹ ਦਮਿਸ਼ਕ ਲਈ ਉਦਾਸ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦਮਿਸ਼ਕ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ: “ਦਮਿਸ਼ਕ ਹੁਣ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਦਮਿਸ਼ਕ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਦਮਿਸ਼ਕ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਇਮਾਰਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਬਚਣਗੀਆਂ।
